Thomas used his last No. 2 ✏️ to fill out his last final on his last day of high school today and it was time to celebrate. The graduate’s mom rented the wrap around suite at the Cosmopolitan. Shots and champagne flowed as the mariachi band serenaded the guests.

The weather in Vegas has been gorgeous lately and unusually cool. Rain swept through the Valley the night before which left behind pillowy clouds. The clouds coupled with the setting sun made for a stunning backdrop for our balcony portraits. Take a look at those views! 🌄

I had the opportunity to shoot Thomas’s grad photos a few weeks back. Thomas’s family and their group of friends have been so welcoming to me and everyone made it so easy for me to do my job! You all are gorgeous, I love these pics! 🕚📸​

I shot Annie while in Laguna for some Mother’s Day festivities. Walking around Laguna was so much fun because almost anything could become a gorgeous background!

We shot in the afternoon when the sun was high but we still found places in the shade for posing. I love the photos of Annie in front of the hotel for their California cool vibe they’re giving off.

It took us quite a few takes before we got the grass pose just right. I happen to love the outtake just as much as the polished version! 🕚📸

Thomas is a scholar by day and a rockstar by night! Thomas wanted an edgy shoot where he could show off some of his guitars in a downtown setting. The Arts District always delivers with its industrial backdrops. The graffiti is always different every time I shoot down here and today didn’t disappoint. Congrats to the graduate! 🎓

Prom took over the Las Vegas Valley and the Venetian was at the center of all of it all! Throngs of teens stood shoulder-to-shoulder as photographer after photographer snapped away. Even among all of the hustle and bustle and cummerbunds, Derrick, Lauryn, and I were able to find private areas to shoot some pretty stellar pics. These two young adults are natural models!

I shot at the Venetian a few times in the last year and I am always surprised how different it is each time. A simple set of steps from one senior session two days prior was transformed into something completely different by the shadow of a light post during this shoot.

We got a lot done in a short amount of time!

Photoshoot stats: 1 hour photoshoot, 4 outfit changes, 492 images shot, 215 edited images, and 1 stunning leg kick in front of the Venetian!

Rylee is a dancer so it was important to get a few action shots of her in her dance outfits. We started out about an hour before the sun went down. As each minute passed, the lighting got better and better. We started shooting the dancing action shots around the time the exterior lights of the Venetian snapped on. What an incredible background! The blue light from dusk provided a lovely contrast to the vibrant white dress Rylee was wearing. This is one of my favorite shots!
