About the Photographer
I fell in love with photography in middle school. My photography teacher allowed me to borrow an old film camera so I could take it with me on a family vacation to Acadia National Park in Maine. I've been shooting photos ever since!
One of my favorite things about people photography is making the connection with the person I am shooting. I can see it happen through my camera lens... it is a subtle change in the person's demeanor that signals they are present, in the moment, and trusting in the vision. There is a real collaboration between the photographer and his model; after all, we make art together!
Since it is a collaboration and we make art together, once your photos are ready I give you the rights to post and print them anywhere. And I have a turn-around time of 24 to 48 hours so you get your photos while the memories are still fresh. Doing so allows you to start posting on Instagram and Facebook as soon as possible!
Let’s make art together. Contact me to get started or book through Facebook.
Jet 546. 200mm, cropped, f16, 1/100sec. "I wanted to use this space as an opportunity to show you one of my favorite photos I've taken. I went to an air show at Nellis Air Force Base and shot this standing on top of the Budweiser concession truck! To capture the jet I used a relatively slow shutter speed and kept my lens moving with it so I could get a gorgeous motion-blur for my background."
