Lots of fun shooting the girls on the ranch! We turned a simple wooden fence into our own studio... you wouldn’t even know there were a couple longhorn steer a few feet away, although we shot a few pics with them in the background, too. The camera loves you ladies!
The leaves have nearly all fallen off the trees at Floyd Lamb Park, but to me this just makes it prettier! I love a stark winter photo!
The camera loves this family! Every frame seemed to be better than the last. I love shooting a sunset at the lake in Floyd Lamb and my portable lighting makes the family pop out of the background. The “totem pole” shot above with the twilight sky in the background was one of my favorite shots from the shoot. Randlomy Santa Claus was in the park and they did not have a photographer! This opened the rare opportunity to take professional Santa photos for the family, and we took some good ones! I love the rich lighting and the look of the Santa in the image in the collage. Every time I shoot at this park, there is some new surprise that makes the photoshoot that much more interesting. It’s a hoot shooting at the Bellagio and the lighting was incredible today on the strip! The walkway in front of the Bellagio fountains was pretty busy but we were able to shoot in between the crowds to make it seem relatively private. I’m also a fan of all the photographic options the little park near the south valet provides for family photography. I was standing in the taxi line for the photo in the upper left corner!
This family’s baby was highly photogenic! He was more than happy to pose and smile for the camera. One of my favorite pictures I took was the dad holding the baby up with the Bellagio in the background. The golden hour sunlight was soft and pink. Very pretty! Kristin’s family was in town and wanted a few shots she could use for Christmas cards. She chose Floyd Lamb Park in the northwest valley for her backdrop. Many of the leaves had fallen creating a velvety bed of yellow paint strokes on the ground. The clouds were doing lovely things with the lighting, making foregrounds pop in some and backgrounds pop in others. I brought out my strobe when the sun was just setting to shoot a few colorful sunset shots. Love shooting here!
Nice couple from Texas in town celebrating their 10th anniversary. It was Louis’s first time in Vegas, and he and his wife did it right staying at the gorgeous Bellagio. We started the shoot in their garden adjacent to the south valet area, just outside from the Chihuly glass lobby. We made our way down for one of the tallest fountain shows I’ve ever seen and headed over to Caesar’s Palace for a change of scenery. Fun shoot!
