Pam and Chris held a lovely wedding ceremony in a neighborhood park last Easter that I had the honor of documenting on camera. The weather was perfect and the few clouds in the sky diffused the sunlight helping make the pictures pop.
The wedding was a family affair! As the bride readied across the street, her family set up the wedding. The kids were on ceremony detail and close relatives perfectly placed each post-ceremony cupcake. The small wedding went off without a hitch, not including, of course, the actual hitching!
Shari celebrated her birthday in Vegas and treated herself to a photo shoot with Morgan and Brittany. We got the party started with some sparkling wine, which helped loosen up inhibitions! The posing was on point and we got some awesomely authentic photos!
I love shooting outside at the Venetian because of the variety of backdrops the location provides. In some areas it really looks like you’re shooting in Europe!
This is place was cool to shoot at... The Big Kahuna Suite at the Rio is 3000 square feet fully-stocked rooftop suite with a killer view to match its floor-to-ceiling windows.
Scott put together this shindig for his husband Joseph to celebrate his 50th birthday and they went all out: catered meal, DJ, dance floor, open bar, and the Vegas Valley for the backdrop.
I got got some good candid shots of the guests and really tried to tell the story of the night through my images. The guests were so inviting here and had no problem vamping for the camera! The people at the party coupled with the bokeh my 85mm portrait lens creates with those twinkling Vegas lights in the distance make for a perfect combo.
My client Scott wanted to surprise his husband with an experience as part of his 50th birthday in Las Vegas. Joseph loves monkeys but had never met one so Scott arranged a party bus for 30 friends to do just that. Scott found an animal wrangler with a capuchin monkey for hire and we all met at a local park.
I’ve never been this close to a monkey before and it provided a truly unique photo opportunity for all of us. I love that close up of the capuchin on his shoulder, such a cute expression on his face. We headed back to Caesars and that’s when the party really started...
